Hello, everyone! It's Brenda here. Today I thought I'd share with you a few scrapbook pages I made using Basic Grey's Jovial collection. It's a great collection with beautiful colors and patterns. Jovial is a great Christmas collection, but the pages I made with these papers aren't Christmas at all. I love it when a scrapbook line can be versatile like that.

On this first page I cut out some of the diamond shapes on the "nice" sheet from that collection. The blues, greens and yellows in the paper allow it to work well with photos from other occasions too. I also cut out some of the flower shapes from the "shopkeeper" paper to use as decorations. This page is about my daughter and her favorite little girl cousin. Adding the Jenni Bowlin butterflies (available in the store) added even more feminine flair.

The next page uses the "coal" and "snowball fight" papers from the Jovial collection. I thought these worked well for a masculine page. The photos I was using were more fall-ish, so I paired the papers with a pretty yellow for more of a fall look.

On this page I used the opposite side of the "shopkeeper" paper. I cut out a large snowflake shape from the patterned paper, layered it onto a sheet of white paper, cut it out again, and stitched through the middle of the snowflake with my sewing machine. Then I roughed up the edges for more of a distressed look. Basic Grey buttons (available in the shop) I on the end of the snowflake finish it off. I carried the stitching theme through to the other side as well by stitching in rows and adding punched snowflakes on top.

I hope you enjoyed my "Jovial" pages today. I had a lot of fun making them. Hopefully I showed you how versatile and fun these Basic Grey papers are.
If you've made anything with these Basic Grey products or any other products from the store we'd love it if you'd share them with us! Just email Devon at dvnmre@yahoo.com and you could be featured right here on the blog! How fun is that?
Thanks so much for joining me today!
