Old Fashioned Charm

I love anything old and vintage and as soon as I saw Echo Park's "For the Record" I was in love! This collection is just so charming and easy to work with. I used it on the following layout of my daughter at the little family diner in our town. I used several of the pp's, word stickers, letter stickers, a couple of tab stickers, and the gorgeous flower stickers, all from the Echo Park collection. I also used jenni bowlin buttons, rose trim, and the new vanilla fabric thickers-all which can be found in the store. For the big ruffles I used a piece of fabric off of one of my daughter's old dresses and just gathered it with thread for the ruffled look. I also used masking tape for my journaling strips. There's nothing like using found objects for an eclectic feel!

Basic Grey is Here!!! And amazing!

I am so loving these 2 new Basic Grey lines! These are some of my fave releases, and they really give Crate Paper a run for their money! The colors are amazing and I can't believe how much I love all the embellies! As always, email ctmkits@yahoo.com or visit the store to order! Enjoy!

Be Mine

I recently received the beautiful Be Mine kit and let me just say I am in love with these Sassafras Papers.  I know that they were originally a Valentine line, but the colors were just so fun and festive I couldn't resist using them for these photos of 2 of my favorite girls.

I mixed and matched the fun edge strips from the different papers to add interest to the page.  The first adding a border and the second became my rosette.  I added some buttons from the "Love" kit, one of the stickers from the add on, and a few older felt embellishments I had in my stash.  I tied it all together with a bit of machine stitching.

I loved the patterns in these papers and was just heartbroken to cover the beautiful designs.  So, I cut the centers out of my papers to save for later.  This is a great way to stretch your paper dollar.  I again used some buttons from the "Love" collection and this time some "Merry" Thickers.

And finally, because I loved the pink floral paper so much I made this little card with a bit of the scraps and a handmade flower.

I hope you can find some inspiration today.

Hugs.

Nancy

American Crafts and Echo Park pages

Hello everyone! It's Brenda here today with a couple of pages to share with you!
First off I used the Love Collection from American Crafts. These papers can be found in the Love Kit. I used photos of my daughter taken a couple of years ago at the country fair.

I love these felt embellishments!. I paired mine with some buttons and twine. The letter stickers are American Crafts.

I toned the patterned papers down a bit by brushing some white acrylic paint over it. The banner was made by punching circles out of the papers and cutting each one in half before adhering it to the page and hand drawing some scallops around the edges.

This next page uses papers and embellishments from the For the Record collection from Echo Park. I just love this line so much! The colors and patterns are just about as perfect as it can get and it goes with so many different occasions. Love it! Here it was perfect for my boy page.

The die cut shapes that come with this package are awesome. I wanted to use them all on my page, but I refrained ;)

A bit of misting adds a little dimension and the title was made using all three letter sticker styles that come in the collection pack.

I hope you liked the pages I shared today.
Be sure to check out all the new stuff in the shop. Devon's got some great new stuff coming in all the time!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Quick Share

Hey everyone, it's me Gabi Watson today to share some projects with you that I created with some awesome product that I picked up right here at Catch the Moments! Today I'm keeping things short but sweet as I have a toddler with an ear infection and a full workload of things to manage, yikes, but I do hope that you enjoy these pages and feel inspired as always, teehee!

Well many of you know that I am married, but I don't think that everyone knows that my husband and I will be celebrating 5 years of marriage later this year and 6 years of togetherness :) We are very proud and excited to be reaching this exciting year in our marriage and although our lives are a bit hectic with finishing up school, parenthood, and the hope of selling our house, we are just so blessed and happy to share our life together always, the ups and the downs. This layout is dedicated to our lives spent together. For this layout, entitled Do You Remember? I used the Love Kit featuring American Crafts! I really loved all the colors in this kit, the flower bits are just so cute with it. AND, right now the kit is on sale for $8.50 - that's a steal! So pick it up while you still can, there are so many uses for these papers and pieces! The picture of us was taken on our 4 year wedding anniversary last August. It's funny how after 5 years, 1 dog and 1 baby later... you don't do anything on anniversaries, but just hang around the house in pjs :P

I loved this line so much that I practically bought two kits, so that I would have enough paper and embellies! Also, the Festive Kit is on sale for $8.50 too, so if you have some holiday pages that you need to create and you are looking the perfect paper, this is IT!
