Design Team Inspiration - Gabrielle Watson

Hello Catch the Moments Followers!

My name is Gabrielle Watson, and today is Show and Tell!! I'm really excited to be sharing my layouts with you that I've created using my Joyful Kit from Catch the Moments Kits :) I hope that you love them and feel inspired to be creative this week!! Without further a do, I would like to present to you my sweet daughter Harper :)

This first layout is entitled: One Fun Day; I am an everyday kind of scrapper. I cherish all the little moments because they are so special to me, and I don't want to forget all the cute little things that she does at every age. Journaling reads: My happy girl Harper always loves to play. At 11 months you pulled out all of your toys and pretty much swam in them. March '10. I used the Joyful Kit from CTM Kits. The list of products used is below the picture :)

Products: Crate Paper PP, Coredinations cardstock, Kraft cardstock, BG buttons (colored), Jenni Bowlin button (white, AC Love detail (flower), and Sassafras glitter alphas

Here is another layout I created using the Joyful Kit from CTM Kits. This is another one of those everyday moments; in these pictures my husband and I were experimenting with Harper's hair combing it into a faux-hawk. We did this a lot just up until Harper's hair got too long, and now we like to spike it up in the bathtub when she is bathing :) This layout is entitled: Baby You're a Star, and the journaling reads: You're a rock star with your cool faux-hawk. Mom and Dad love to style all your cool do's. March ,10

Products: Crate Paper PP, Echo Park PP, AC lace, Sassafras glitter alphas, Dear Lizzy thickers, Jenni Bowlin tags

So I don't know if you noticed, but I didn't use this 'holiday paper' with any Christmas or holiday pictures. I am saving those for my holiday scrapbook which I am scrapping primarily in BG Jovial that I got in my Festive kit. I own several kits from CTM. I really just love them all!

I wanted to think outside of the box with this paper, and luckily these lines have great colors, and they are very versatile. The Echo Park PP has tiny snowflakes in lots of different colors, and I saw that and thought, this would be perfect for little stars :) Then I had some snowflake paper that was Crate Paper, and I decided to take my White Galaxy Marker from AC and draw stars over the snowflakes to go with the 'Baby You're a Star' theme. This can be done with any paper too, not just Crate Paper or Echo Park. If the colors are right, you can used themed paper for anything almost outside of that theme! Everyday moments are great ways to use up some of that themed paper your have in your stash but in another way - challenge yourself to do this every so often, you could be surprised by what you create!

Well my friends I am glad to share my layouts with you and please leave some love!! I hope that I've inspired you today to be creative, and check out my blog and become a follower for more inspiration, other nonsensical happenings in my life and an RAK later this week: www.fromwatsonwithlove.blogspot.com

With Love,
Gabi Watson
