Hiya friends! It's Brenda here with you today to share some cards I made with the Sweetness line from Pink Paislee. The colors and patterns in this line are so pretty and feminine. Full of flowers, soft colors, and a bit of vintage. In fact, this line is perfect for those Valentine's Day projects you might still need to work on.
I made three different cards to share with you today using the Sweetness line. I used the 6x6 paper pad plus the Sugar add on 2.
This first card is a large one measuring 6"x6".
I added a heart shaped doily, a ribbon flower, a Jenni Bowlin button, a stamped sentiment, and a few other accents to create a fun and feminine focal point.
Since I also had a few extra 6 x 6 envelopes lying around I decided to stamp one with a doily stamp to create a pretty coordinating envelope for this card.
This next one uses several of the patterned papers. I cut them into small pieces and pieced them together. I added stitching at some of the seams for kind of a quilted look.
The flower was made by cutting a narrow strip of the striped paper in the Sweetness line and folding it to create the flower. Another Jenni Bowlin button and a brad complete the flower. I also added a heart cut from canvas fabric which I stamped and inked for a fun touch.
This last one is the most simple of all. I took advantage of the great design on the patterned paper and incorporated into the design of the card. Not much else is needed. I added the fabulous felt accent that comes with the Sugar add on 2 along with some die cut heart accents and a bit of stitching and called it done.
Here's a closer look at the die cuts, felt accent, and stitching.
I hope you enjoyed ky look at the Sweetness line from Pink Paislee today. I fell in love with this line and I hope you enjoy it too. Be sure to check out the store for more Pink Paislee goodness!
